Residents, families and staff at Orchard House Care Home in Newport came together to celebrate Father's Day with a special afternoon of entertainment, food and family time.
The care home welcomed relatives to join residents for a Father's Day lunch, giving families the opportunity to spend quality time together and create lasting memories.
Adding to the celebrations was a visit from Tony of Independent Arts, who performed a selection of well-loved songs that had residents and guests singing along throughout the afternoon.
There was also plenty of laughter thanks to Father's Day cards featuring classic dad jokes, which proved a hit with residents and visitors alike.
A spokesperson for Orchard House said Father's Day provided an important opportunity to celebrate the father figures in residents' lives and bring families together.
They said seeing people singing, sharing stories and enjoying each other's company made for a particularly special occasion.
The Newport care home thanked all the families who attended and helped make the day such a success.
Orchard House regularly hosts activities and events designed to keep residents engaged and connected with both their families and the wider Island community.
