Newport based Snap Fitness Isle of Wight has thanked the incredible generosity of the local community after donating more than 100 Easter eggs to St Mary’s Hospital.

The eggs will be shared out across the paediatric ward and paediatric A&E

departments and will be gratefully received by young patients and members of staff who will be in the hospital across the Easter weekend.

The popular gym, located in Towngate Retail Park, rallied its members together by

collecting the Easter eggs via a dedicated drop-off area set up in the gym’s reception area.

After a fantastic effort to gather the eggs over the past few weeks, staff from Snap Fitness Isle of Wight had the opportunity to drop off the eggs to the team at St Mary’s Hospital who were incredibly grateful for the kindness shown by the gym’s

members.

“We pride ourselves on the community we’ve created in our gym and we’re so grateful to our members for supporting our Easter egg drive,” said Victoria Coles, Club Manager at Snap Fitness Isle of Wight.
“As a local business ourselves, we understand the importance of giving back and we’re looking forward to some further charity activity in the coming months.”

Snap Fitness Isle of Wight is open 24 hours a day to its members, providing them the opportunity to exercise around their lifestyles.

Membership includes access to top of the range equipment, a dedicated member app, unlimited group exercise classes and access to over 1,000 global locations.
