Sandown & Shanklin 10K Returns This Sunday

The popular MCC Promotions 10K Run Series is heading back to the Island this weekend with the annual Sandown & Shanklin 10K.

The race takes place this Sunday (14th September), starting at Yaverland Hill, opposite The Sailing & Boat Club.

Runners will follow the route along Shanklin seafront before turning back and finishing at Sandown, opposite the Wildheart Sanctuary.

The event welcomes runners of all abilities, with entries accepted on the day between 9am and 9.45am at the Wildheart Sanctuary, ahead of the 10am start. Entry costs £19.

Run Director Mark Caswell said the event is a great opportunity for both seasoned runners and first-timers to take part in a fun and friendly coastal run.
