Police And Ambulances Called To Multi Vehicle Collision Near Ventnor

Emergency services are responding to a multi vehicle road traffic collision on Whitwell Road, between Ventnor and Whitwell, this morning (Tuesday).

The incident, involving at least three cars, occurred at the junction with St Lawrence Shute at around 8.20am.

The vehicles have sustained significant damage, though the severity of any injuries has not yet been confirmed.

At least two ambulances from Newport have been dispatched, alongside police officers who are currently managing the scene.

St Lawrence Shute is closed to traffic, however the main road linking Ventnor and Whitwell remains open.
