Emergency services say the out-of-area aircraft was deployed to ensure the patient could receive specialist care as quickly as possible.

The incident, involving at least three cars, occurred at the junction with St Lawrence Shute at around 8.20am.

Police were alerted following reports that a man required medical assistance inside one of the cubicles.
