Residents and staff from Orchard House Care Centre had a magical day out this week as they enjoyed a spectacular performance at Jay Miller’s Circus, which recently visited the local area.
The big top was filled with excitement, colour, and wonder as residents were treated to an array of dazzling acts – from gravity-defying acrobatics to captivating performances under the circus lights.
The atmosphere was electric, and the joy was evident on everyone’s faces.
“At Orchard House, we truly believe that fun and adventure don’t have an age limit,” said Katie Schlepp Head of lifestyle.
“Our residents grew up with the magic of the circus, so when we heard it was coming to town, we knew it was the perfect opportunity to make more memories together.”
The outing is just one of many meaningful experiences regularly arranged for residents at Orchard House.
With a focus on enriching lives and promoting wellbeing, the care home ensures residents have opportunities to remain connected with the wider community and enjoy activities that bring them happiness.
Whether it’s a trip to the seaside, a garden picnic or a night at the circus, Orchard House continues to celebrate the joy in every day – regardless of age.
