Asda on St George’s Way remains closed today (Tuesday) after a power outage forced the store to shut abruptly yesterday.

The supermarket has confirmed it will stay temporarily closed while engineers work to restore power.

Store colleagues are preparing for a safe reopening as soon as possible.

Customers expecting online deliveries are being contacted directly regarding their orders, with gestures of goodwill being offered where appropriate.
