More Than 1,200 Take Part In Isle Of Wight Randonnee
More than 1,200 cyclists have taken part in the Isle of Wight Randonnee 2026 – the first edition of the event to be organised by Mountbatten Isle of Wight.
Cyclists travelled from across the Island, as well as from places including Cardiff, Cheshire and Norfolk, to tackle the 100-kilometre route.
The event's new September date proved popular, with hundreds more people signing up on the day.
Cyclists were treated to sunshine as they made their way through the Island's countryside, with finishers receiving a bespoke medal.
The Randonnee will return on Sunday, September 5, 2027.
Mountbatten says ÂŁ6.50 in every ÂŁ10 it receives comes from fundraising, events and donations, helping support its end-of-life care services on the Isle of Wight.
People interested in taking part in next year's Randonnee can register their interest through Mountbatten's website.
