Hovertravel has extra late flights from its Southsea Hoverport over the Victorious Festival weekend (Friday 22 – Sunday 24 August), making it even easier for Isle of Wight residents to get home quickly and comfortably after a full day of festival fun.

As the closest ferry operator to the Victorious Festival site, Hovertravel’s Southsea terminal is just a short walk from Southsea Common. Coupled with its ten-minute crossing time to Ryde, it’s the fastest and most convenient route back to the Island.

To make the journey home a little sweeter, passengers on return flights will be offered a free retro treat or two – a small, nostalgic sugar boost for the ride across the Solent.

Extra late flights from Southsea will operate as follows:

  • Friday 22 August: 21:30, 22:15, 22:45, 23:15 & 23:45

  • Saturday 23 August: 21:30, 22:15, 22:45, 23:15, 23:45 & 00:15

  • Sunday 24 August: 22:15, 22:45, 23:15, 23:45 & 00:15

Loretta Lale, Head of Marketing at Hovertravel, said:

“We know how important it is for Island residents to have a fast, simple way to get back home after a big event like Victorious.
"With our hoverport just minutes from the festival site and our crossing taking only ten minutes, Hovertravel is the most efficient way to travel.
"Our extra late flights give customers more flexibility – and we’re adding a little retro treat for the trip home too.”

Seats on some of these flights are already close to fully booked, so customers are encouraged to secure their tickets as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
