Hovertravel Launches Festive Behind-The-Scenes Tour This Christmas

Hovertravel is adding a sprinkle of Christmas magic to its popular Behind-the-Scenes Tour this December — complete with mince pies, festive selfies, and holiday surprises.

The Festive Edition takes place on Monday 22 December at 2pm, offering guests a 90-minute guided experience inside the Hovercraft Centre of Excellence in Ryde.

Visitors can enjoy a free mince pie in Solent Views, the viewing hub overlooking Ryde Hoverport, while learning about the fascinating history of hovercraft travel.

Each guest will also receive a gift-wrapped Hovertravel souvenir and have the chance to meet Henri the Hoverbear, dressed in festive style and ready for cheerful photo opportunities.

For those travelling from the mainland, a Festive Behind-the-Scenes Tour package includes a return flight from Southsea, departing at 1:30pm and returning from Ryde at 4:15pm.
