A dog has been put to sleep after injuring three people in East Cowes.

Police were called to Vectis Road after the trio were injured by a dog on Thursday afternoon (9 October).

Officers attended the scene shortly after 3.35pm, following reports that a dog had attacked members of the public.

A woman in her 20s, a woman in her 30s, and a man in his 30s all sustained minor injuries.

Police confirmed that the dog has been voluntarily surrendered by its owner and has since been put to sleep.
