Delays In Ryde Following Two Car Collision

Traffic is building in the east of the Isle of Wight following a two-vehicle collision near Ryde this afternoon (Friday).

Queues have formed along Smallbrook Lane and are stretching onto Great Preston Road as a result of the incident. One vehicle has sustained significant front-end damage, while the other has damage to its left-hand side.

Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary officers already in the area are at the scene managing traffic.

Police have confirmed that no serious injuries have been reported.
