Niton FC and Ventnor FC will come together on Saturday 4th July for a charity football match raising money for local causes while paying tribute to two much-loved members of the Island community.

The event, taking place at Niton FC, Springhead, Blackgang Road, is being held in memory of Ben McLoughlin ('Macca') and Robert Williamson ('Aff').

Organisers hope to raise funds for Mindset Bros, with the Isle of Wight Search and Rescue team also expected to benefit from the day.

Supporters are invited to arrive from 12pm, with kick-off scheduled for 2pm.

Food and drink will be available throughout the afternoon, alongside a raffle, and on-site parking will be provided.

As well as encouraging people to attend, organisers are appealing for donations to the charities and are asking anyone who can offer raffle prizes to get in touch.

The event's message is simple: "Two players. Two clubs. One community."

Organisers hope the day will not only raise vital funds but also bring people together to celebrate the lives of two Islanders who remain fondly remembered.
