The Brighstone Christmas Tree Festival is back, bringing festive lights, music, and community cheer to the village from 4th–7th December.
The celebrations kick off on Wednesday 3rd December with the Mountbatten Hospice Lights of Love Carol Service at 7pm in St Mary’s Church, with the lights switched on from 6:45pm.
Across the four main festival days, visitors can explore over 150 decorated Christmas trees at eight venues, including St Mary’s Church, Brighstone Methodist Church, The Three Bishops, and Isle of Wight Pearl.
Some trees will remain on display throughout December.
This year, the festival supports the Daisy Ring Bus, funding essential community transport across the Island.
Visitors can enjoy:
Marching bands and local choirs
Musical entertainment throughout the village
Father Christmas visits
Charity tractor drive “Ride Out”
Nature talks at Mottistone Church
Craft stalls, mini markets, raffles, and refreshments
Festival organisers Emily Waters and Di Woodhouse said:"Every tree is made with love by local families, schools, charities, and businesses. The festival brings Brighstone alive and helps support important Island causes."
The event is free to attend, with programmes, maps, and listings available in the village and across the Island.
