38 students from The Bay CE School enjoyed an unforgettable adventure during the May half term as they travelled to Paris for a cultural and educational experience packed with excitement, discovery, and a touch of magic.

The six-day trip saw pupils immersing themselves in the heart of French culture, beginning with a cookery class in central Paris where they learned the secrets behind crafting classic French treats such as croissants and macaroons.

The hands-on workshop offered a delicious and memorable insight into French culinary traditions.

Students then took to the River Seine aboard the famous Bateaux Mouches for a scenic cruise, offering stunning views of the city’s most iconic landmarks.

Sightseeing on foot followed, with stops at the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs Élysées, and the historic Notre Dame Cathedral, giving students a deeper appreciation for Paris’s rich history and architecture.

The highlight for many came with two action-packed days at Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Studios.

From thrilling rides and magical parades to meeting beloved Disney characters, students were able to unwind and create cherished memories with friends.

Trip leader Stuart Allen commented:

“It was an incredible experience for our students.
"Not only did they get to explore one of the world’s most beautiful cities, but they also gained confidence, cultural awareness, and had so much fun.
"We’re so proud of how they represented the school throughout.”

The Bay CE School continues to offer a broad range of enriching experiences that extend learning beyond the classroom.
