UPDATE: FOUND Appeal For Information As Isle Of Wight Man Goes Missing

Police are asking for help to locate an 83-year-old man from the Isle of Wight.

Richard Clarke was last seen at Newport Bus Station at around 11.30am today (16 December).

He is described as white, around 6ft 2in tall, with a slim build.

At the time he was last seen, he was wearing a grey fleece, grey and blue checked flat cap, and khaki trousers.

Anyone who has seen Richard or has information about his whereabouts is asked to call 999, quoting reference 44250565580.

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward as soon as possible.

UPDATE:

A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary confirmed the missing man has now been located.

A statement said:

"Earlier today we appealed for information to help find a missing 83-year-old man from the Isle of Wight.

"We're pleased to tell you he has been found.

"Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal and contacted us with information. "
