Two men have been jailed for a combined total of more than two years in prison following a break-in at the Boots Pharmacy on Sandown High Street.

Morrisons petrol station in Newport remains cordoned off this morning (Sunday) following a robbery and assault on a member of staff.

Police are appealing for information after an attempted theft of metal was reported in Seaview, near Ryde, on Saturday.

A woman attended Asda on St George’s Way on 16 October and 17 October and bought several high value items, but used a barcode on her phone to only pay £1 for each item.
