Up to six shipping containers have been spotted floating in the sea to the south-east of the Isle of Wight after vessels lost cargo during Storm Goretti.

Storm Goretti is expected to bring a spell of strong and potentially disruptive winds to the Isle of Wight later today and through tonight.

Islanders are being warned to prepare for potential disruption with Storm Goretti on the horizon.
