A man has been arrested after police responded to reports of an assault involving a man and a woman in Apse Heath yesterday evening.

A desperate appeal has been launched to help locate Rose, a missing dog currently on holiday on the Isle of Wight.

Island Roads is set to carry out two significant road improvement schemes in September, which will mean full road closures in parts of Apse Heath and Arreton.
