Coronavirus: Isle Of Wight Records NO New Daily Cases

No new coronavirus cases have been recorded in today's (Thursday's) Isle of Wight total.

And the Isle of Wight's rolling case rate continues to fall.

Just months after recording the UK's fourth highest rolling case rate, the Island now has the fourth lowest.

The Island's rolling seven-day case rate, per 100,000 population, is 16.9.

On Tuesday (2), when there were also no new cases, it was at 23.3. The UK's average is 84.4, per 100,000.

Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 6,648 cases.

Four cases were confirmed yesterday (Wednesday).

In total, 264 people have now died on the Isle of Wight after testing positive for the illness.
