Wildheart Animal Sanctuary Raises Almost £27,000 At 50th Anniversary Celebrations

Wildheart Animal Sanctuary has raised almost £27,000 for its rescued animals as part of celebrations marking its 50th anniversary.
Hundreds of people attended a special event at the sanctuary in Sandown on Saturday 19th September.
The evening included live music, performances, family activities, food and drink, animal talks and feeding sessions.
A planned drone display had to be cancelled because of high winds, but was rescheduled for the following Saturday.
Hundreds of people returned on 26th September to watch the display, which featured Wildheart-themed images and messages above the sanctuary.
Wildheart's chief executive Lawrence Bates said the £27,000 raised would make a genuine difference to the animals in its care.
The sanctuary has also confirmed the anniversary celebration will return in 2027.
