Vote Pedro To Headline Mountbatten Fireworks At Robin Hill

Popular Isle of Wight mariachi band Vote Pedro will headline this year’s Fireworks with Mountbatten Isle of Wight at Robin Hill Adventure Park.

The family event takes place on Saturday, November 7, with tickets going on sale from 12.30pm today, Friday, October 2.

The event will feature live entertainment, food and drink from Island vendors, followed by a fireworks finale.

Tickets cost £7.50 for adults and £5 for children, with family tickets also available. Under-fives can attend for free.

Anyone travelling by car, Park & Ride or event bus will also need to book a travel ticket, with parking at Robin Hill limited.

Vote Pedro formed on the Isle of Wight in 2016 and is known for its high-energy mariachi versions of well-known songs.

The band has performed at major events including Victorious Festival and Camp Bestival, with their repertoire including The White Stripes’ Seven Nation Army and Elvis Presley’s Suspicious Minds.

Band member Señor Alphonso says the group is all about making people smile.

The event is being held in support of Mountbatten Isle of Wight’s hospice care, with the charity relying on fundraising, events and donations for a significant proportion of its funding.

Tickets are available from Mountbatten’s website.
