Visit Isle of Wight has announced a new way of working with tourism businesses across the Island, with the launch of its BID LIVE engagement programme.

The initiative will see a series of “Open Floor” sessions held throughout April and May, led by Chief Executive Dominic Wray alongside members of the board and wider team.

The aim is to create a more regular and open dialogue with businesses, moving away from one-off meetings to a more continuous feedback approach.

Visit Isle of Wight says BID LIVE will bring together in-person sessions, updates and online communication to help businesses stay informed and have a say in the future direction of tourism on the Island.

New features will also include the chance to submit questions in advance, with key discussions and outcomes shared afterwards via the Visit Wight Pro platform.

Chief Executive Dominic Wray says the programme is about making sure businesses can see how their feedback is shaping decisions over time.

Tourism businesses are being encouraged to take part in the sessions as the organisation looks to strengthen collaboration across the sector.
