Ventnor Man In Class A Drug Arrest After Woman Suffers Medical Episode

A man from Ventnor has been arrested on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs following an incident that saw a woman suffer a medical incident.

Police were called at 2:17pm on Sunday (June 1) to reports of a concern for welfare at an address on Newport Road in Ventnor.

Emergency services attended and located a 29-year-old woman suffering from a medical episode.

She was taken to St Mary’s Hospital by the ambulance service where she remains in a serious condition.

Officers are continuing to carry out enquiries at the address after a 27-year-old man from Ventnor was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug.

He has been bailed until 1 September while enquiries continue.
