The Vectis Radio 4Ps Training school Charity has been nominated in the BBC Make A Difference Awards.
The award-winning Vectis Radio 4Ps Training School is a registered charity dedicated to
supporting young people aged 11 to 19, including those with additional needs, by helping them build confidence and communication skills through hands-on radio training.
The Make a Difference Awards, run Nationally & Regionally by the BBC, are the public's chance to say thank you and recognise those who improve lives where they live.
Helen Head, Senior Content producer for BBC Radio Solent said in an email to the charity:
“I am delighted to tell you that you’ve been nominated for a BBC Radio Solent Make a Difference Award for 2025. Congratulations!”
Winners will be selected by a panel of judges and awards will be given in each category, across each national and local BBC radio station.
The Make a Difference Award ceremonies will take place across the UK in September.
Maggie Currie, Trustee of the 4Ps charity, said:
“This is fantastic news. Even to be nominated for this award is an honour and a testament to the hard work and dedication put in by the team behind the 4Ps sessions.
“Thank you to whoever nominated us and I hope this recognition will enable us to help even more young people. Good luck to all the nominees.”
