The family of a man who died following a fire in Cowes have released a tribute.
Police were called at 3.32am on Friday 26 June to the fire, which took place at an address on Ronsons Close, and officers attended alongside fire and ambulance service colleagues.
Lucas Scutt, aged 24 and from Cowes, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family have released the following tribute in his memory:
"Our family is completely devastated by the loss of Lucas, a cherished son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend.
"He brought so much joy, love, and laughter into our lives, and his loss leaves an unimaginable void.
“We are also mourning the loss of his beloved pets, who also passed away alongside him.
“We, as a family, ask that our privacy is fully respected by the media at this time as we attempt to come to terms with this profound tragedy."
The investigation into Lucas’s death continues, and as part of enquiries three men remain on bail having been arrested on suspicion of murder and arson with intent to endanger life.
