Three-Car Crash Causes Delays In Newport

Emergency services have been called to a three-vehicle collision on the outskirts of Newport this afternoon (Wednesday).

Police received reports at around 2.33pm of a crash at the junction of Forest Road and Whitehouse Road.

No injuries have been reported.

Motorists have reported experiencing delays in the area while the incident is dealt with, with drivers being advised to allow extra time for their journeys.

Southern Vectis route 7 buses are currently delayed by around 20 minutes.
