The 124th Royal Isle of Wight County Show will take place on Saturday 12 th and Sunday 13 th

July at the County Showground, Northwood.

The Island’s County Show, organised by the Island for the Island, celebrates all aspects of

Island life.

Alongside the numerous livestock and equine classes, where farmers and equestrians showcase their sheep, goats, cattle, pigs, and horses, competing for a coveted first prize, there is something for everyone, whether young or old.

The show is a celebration of the best of the Island’s talent in a whole range of areas.

In addition to the Visit Isle of Wight Tourism Area, Show Farm, and the Woodland, visitors can enjoy local food and drink, Island art, and artisan crafts. There is even a beach!

There is entertainment throughout the two days of the show, featuring a full Main Ring timetable, performers on the Village Green Stage, and activities in the Village Green Arena.

By popular demand, The Sheep Show returns, with Nobby the sheep still the star attraction.

All proceeds from the Show go to support the Rural Careers Fund, a scheme run by the Royal Isle of Wight Agricultural Society to help Island students who want to further their

skills in agricultural or related courses.

Graham Biss, County Show Chairman, explained:

“As a County Show, we want to celebrate the Island’s talent and give Islanders a really fun but inexpensive day out. We call the show a field full of fun.
"There is so much to see and do, many people now come back for a second day”

Tickets can be purchased in advance from the County Show website:

An adult day ticket bought in advance of the show is only £12,50 or £17 for the weekend.

Children under 16 accompanied by an adult are free.
