Southern Vectis, in partnership with Isle of Wight Council, is introducing a shuttle bus to transport passengers during the New Road, Brading, Closure.

The shuttle will operate between Brading Bull Ring and Tesco. At Tesco, passengers can change to route 2 or 3 for their onward journeys.

“We understand our customers rely on the services we provide, and this has been a challenging situation,” said Simon Moye, Southern Vectis oeprations manager.
“I’d like to thank them for their patience and understanding during these works by Island Roads.
“Our team is determined to minimise disruption to our services, and I am delighted that we have been able to work with Isle of Wight Council to provide the shuttle bus for the remainder of the works.”

Stewart Chandler, the council’s transport strategy manager, added: “Ensuring residents can continue to travel reliably during these essential works has been a priority for us. We’re pleased to have worked closely with Southern Vectis to introduce this shuttle service, which will help maintain important connections for the Brading community.”
