On-call firefighters from Shanklin were called to Melville Street in Sandown at around 7.30am yesterday (Monday) after reports that part of a property’s outer wall had collapsed.
Crews arrived to find the fallen masonry had damaged two vehicles on the driveway.
The building was evacuated as a precaution and the area was cordoned off while firefighters carried out safety checks.
The incident was later handed over to the property owner and the local authority.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service left the scene at around 10am.
