Ryde School Uniform Swap Shop Open For Business

Ryde Town Council has announced the return of the School Uniform Swap Shop this summer.

Based at the former Natwest Building in Ryde it is running between 10am and 2pm every Friday in August.

Bring along any school uniform that doesn’t fit and swap it for a bigger size.

The Swap Shop has branded uniform from every Ryde school as well as a host of general, non-school specific, items such as shorts and t-shirts.

Community Development Officer Alison Pearce says:

"In many ways we are sorry to mention school right in the middle of the summer holidays but we know a lot of people are already looking to get their school clothes sorted for September.

"If you don't have any uniform to swap please do come along as it is a brilliant way to recycle pre-worn uniform rather than sending it to landfill.”
