Ryde Pier Reopens After Vehicle Removed Following Incident

Ryde Pier has reopened after a vehicle involved in an incident was safely removed.

Wightlink has confirmed its FastCat service between Portsmouth Harbour and Ryde Pier Head will resume, with sailings departing Portsmouth at 4.15pm and Ryde at 4.45pm.

The pier’s walkway and train are also available again for foot passengers.

Traffic is currently moving in single file, although vehicles can travel in both directions.

Wightlink thanked customers for their patience while the incident was dealt with.
