Ryde Community Projects Urged To Apply For Grants Of Up To £300,000

Local organisations, businesses and partnerships are being urged to apply for funding for major community projects in Ryde, with the deadline for initial applications approaching.
Up to £300,000 is available through the Ryde Neighbourhood Board’s Major Grants Programme, funded by the Pride in Place initiative.
Grants of more than £20,000 and up to £300,000 are on offer for projects that deliver lasting benefits for local people and support the Board’s 10-year vision for the town.
For the period from 2026 to 2030, funding will focus on five areas: high streets, regeneration and heritage, skills and education, health and wellbeing, and safety and security.
The Board is particularly interested in ideas that bring people together, create opportunities, strengthen the local economy and improve community life.
Expressions of interest must be submitted by midnight on Friday 16 October. Those invited to progress will then be asked to submit a full application by midnight on Friday 15 January 2027.
Applicants are expected to be told the outcome by Friday 26 March 2027, following a Board meeting on 19 March.
The programme is being administered by the Isle of Wight Council on behalf of the Ryde Neighbourhood Board.
