Reform Secures First Ever Seat On Isle Of Wight Council

Reform UK has won its first seat on the Isle of Wight Council.
In a landmark victory for the right-wing populist party, David Maclean received 291 votes.
The Conservatives’ Adrian Whittaker came second, backed by 232 voters.
Mr Maclean is not present at the Westridge Centre count today.

David Maclean (Reform UK) – 291
Adrian Whittaker (Conservative) – 232
Robert Peter May (Green Party) – 97
Julie Burridge (Lib Dem) – 86
Sarah Morris (Independent) – 55
Emily Brothers (Labour) – 47
