Red Funnel Customers Help Shape Future Onboard Menus

Red Funnel customers have been given the chance to help shape the ferry operator's future onboard menus.
Islanders and regular travellers took part in a new customer food forum, sampling existing dishes alongside potential new additions.
Current favourites including cod and chips, chicken tikka masala and beef lasagne were among the dishes on offer.
Customers also tried an Isle of Wight Steak and Ale Pie and Cottage Pie made using locally reared Island beef.
The event was hosted by Red Funnel's Food and Beverage Manager, Gordon Wright, and followed customer feedback calling for greater involvement in the development of the onboard food offering.
Red Funnel says feedback from the tasting panel will help shape future food and drink choices across its fleet.
The company also highlighted its work with local suppliers, including Island Foods, Isle of Wight Tomatoes, Mermaid Gin, Wight Whisky, Woodaholics and Goddards Brewery.
It says it will continue to look for opportunities to feature more locally sourced products on its ferries.
