Red Funnel Charity Cruise Raises Funds For Mountbatten

Red Funnel has welcomed 20 guests aboard an exclusive Solent cruise after the experience was auctioned to raise money for Mountbatten Isle of Wight.

The 90-minute trip aboard Red Jet 7 was donated as a prize at a charity dinner in December, helping to raise £11,000 for the Island hospice.

Guests enjoyed afternoon tea, views of the Solent Forts and the Needles, and a behind-the-scenes visit to the vessel's bridge, where they met the crew.

The winning bidder, Sara Causier, praised the experience, describing the service, food and hospitality as exceptional.

Red Funnel says the event forms part of its ongoing commitment to supporting local communities and charities. The ferry operator also offers private Red Jet charters for corporate events and special occasions.
