Music Nights Coming Up At Medina Bookshop

Medina Bookshop in Newport is hosting a series of intimate live music evenings over the coming months.

The events, organised by Paul Armfield, begin tomorrow (Saturday) with American singer-songwriter Petunia.

Doors open just before 7pm, with the performance starting shortly afterwards.

Tickets cost £15.

Jon Wilks — Friday, October 16

Jon Wilks will perform a stripped-back set in the bookshop, with support from Ben Allman.

The event is being held in partnership with Vecta Music. Tickets are £15 and the performance starts at 7pm.

Chan Reid — Wednesday, October 21

An evening of Irish song with Chan Reid.

Doors open just before 7pm, with the music starting shortly afterwards.

Tickets cost £12.50.

Detta Kenzie — Friday, November 6

An evening of folk music from up-and-coming singer Detta Kenzie.

The event starts at 7pm and tickets are £12.50.

Simon Kempston — Monday, November 23

Singer-songwriter and guitarist Simon Kempston returns to Medina Bookshop for an evening of music.

Doors open shortly before 7pm, with tickets priced at £12.50.

All of the events are being held at Medina Bookshop, with audiences able to bring their own refreshments.
