Price Rises Coming To Southern Vectis Bus Fares

Southern Vectis has confirmed that a number of its fares will increase from Sunday 31st August 2025.


All single fares remain capped at £3 under the Government’s national scheme, but changes will apply to period passes, multi-day bundles, Freedom and Rover tickets, and some transfer fares.


Transfer Fare Changes


Adults:


  • Medium hop: £4.20 (up from £4.00)

  • Long hop: £5.50 (up from £5.30)

  • Short hop: unchanged at £3.00


Young People:


  • Medium hop: £3.40 (up from £3.30)

  • Long hop: £4.30 (up from £4.20)

  • Short hop: unchanged at £2.40


Children:


  • Short hop: £1.80 (up from £1.70)

  • Medium hop: £2.40 (up from £2.30)

  • Long hop: £3.10 (up from £3.00)


Key Rover & Freedom Ticket Adjustments


  • Adult 24-hour Rover (app): £11.00 (up from £10.50)

  • Child 24-hour Rover (app): £6.80 (up from £6.50)

  • Adult 7-day Freedom (app): £32.50 (up from £31.00)

  • Adult 30-day Freedom (app): £120.00 (up from £115.00)

  • Adult 90-day Freedom (app): £299.00 (up from £286.00)


Rover + Breezer Tickets


These remain unchanged until Monday 3rd November, when fares will also increase.

Southern Vectis says the best savings are available via its mobile app, which also supports journey planning, live bus tracking, and paperless “Tap On Tap Off” ticketing.
