Police Investigations After Child Hurt In Alleged Dog Attack In Arreton

A young girl has suffered minor injuries after being bitten by a dog at Arreton Barns Visitor Centre.

The incident happened on Monday afternoon, with Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary called at 2.16pm following reports a French bulldog had bitten the child on the arm.

The girl’s injuries are described as minor.

Officers are now appealing for information as enquiries continue into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
