Police Investigate Two Overnight Pharmacy Break-Ins in Ryde and Newport

Police are probing 2 separate pharmacy burglaries reported in the early hours of Friday.
Officers were first called at 12:07 AM to Jhoots Pharmacy on the Esplanade, Ryde, after reports of three men acting suspiciously. On arrival, police found the front door window smashed. The men were later seen walking up Union Street.
A second incident was reported at 4:11 AM at Day Lewis Pharmacy on Newport High Street, where a brick is believed to have been used to smash the glass door. The entrance has since been boarded up and officers have left the scene.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
