Police Appeal For Witnesses After £300 Shoplifting At Ryde Tesco Extra

Police are appealing for witnesses following a reported shoplifting incident at Tesco Extra on Brading Road in Ryde.
The incident is believed to have taken place on Monday 12 January, between 8.20pm and 8.25pm.
A man reportedly entered the store and left without paying for bottles of spirits, said to be worth around £300.
Following enquiries, officers have released an image of a man they believe may be able to assist with the investigation.
He is described as:
White
Around 5ft 9in to 5ft 10in tall
With a grey beard
Wearing a two-tone baseball cap (white and brown), a black jacket with dark grey sleeves, dark knee-high shorts, and black Nike trainers with a white tick logo
Anyone who recognises the man, or who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious, is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 44260017491.
Officers are also keen to hear from anyone who may have relevant CCTV, dashcam, mobile phone, or doorbell footage from the area at the time.
