Police Appeal After Missing 82-Year-Old Man Believed To Have Links To Isle Of Wight

Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary is appealing for the public's help to find a missing 82-year-old man who may have travelled to the Isle of Wight.

Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of John Sotiropulo, from Havant, who was last seen in the Frogham Green area of the town at around 4pm on Tuesday (4 August).

Despite extensive enquiries, police have so far been unable to locate him.

John is believed to have travelled to the Isle of Wight, Portsmouth or Gosport, and officers are asking residents to be vigilant.

He is described as:

• White

• Slim build

• Around 5ft 9in tall

• Bald with a short white beard

• Walks with a limp

When last seen, John was wearing black or navy blue trousers, a blue polo shirt and black shoes.
