Police Appeal After Indecent Exposure Report on Red Squirrel Trail

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was reported to have indecently exposed himself on the Red Squirrel Trail near Merstone Station yesterday morning (Thursday, 25 September).


The incident happened shortly after 9.50am, when a man and a woman cycling on the trail spotted a man exposing himself close to the picnic benches just north of Merstone Lane.


Officers say the man did not speak to anyone and no one was hurt.


He is described as:


  • White

  • Around 30 years old

  • Slim build

  • Dark hair

  • Wearing a tracksuit


Police believe other people may have been in the area at the time and are urging anyone who saw a man acting suspiciously, or who may have dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage, to get in touch.
