Police Appeal After Dog Attack in Ryde

Police are appealing for information after a man was bitten by a dog in Ryde on Saturday (4 October).


At around 5:00pm, a 30-year-old man suffered bites to his right hand and leg on George Street. He was treated for minor injuries at St Mary’s Hospital.


The dog’s owner left the scene, and officers are working to identify the man involved.


Anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious is asked to call 101, quoting reference 44250449745.


Police are also seeking CCTV, dashcam, mobile phone, or doorbell camera footage that could assist with their enquiries.
