Orchard House Care Home Staff Recognised At Awards Evening

Staff at an Isle of Wight care home have been recognised for their work at a special awards evening.

Orchard House Care Home held its Care Awards, bringing together residents, relatives, friends and colleagues to celebrate the achievements of its team.

Awards were based on nominations from colleagues and residents.

The winners were:

• Hospitality Champion: Jenna

• Dementia Champion: Rijo

• Activities Coordinator of the Year: Lewis

• Clinical Shining Star: Helen

• Non-Clinical Shining Star: Tina

• Community Engagement Award: Gina

• Team of the Year: Bluebell Community

• Newest Stars to the Team: Dani and Lucy

• Learner of the Year: Emma F

• Manager's Special Recognition Award: Kirsty

• Resident Advocate Award: Elyse

• Employee of the Month: Vicki

Managers Emma and Amanda said they were "incredibly proud" of the whole team and praised their dedication to residents.

They said the event provided an opportunity for residents, relatives and staff to come together and recognise the work carried out at the home.
