Nine Acres Primary School Announces Headteacher Appointment

Nine Acres Community Primary School in Newport has announced the appointment of Miss R. McDonald BA (Hons) PGCE NPQSL as its new Headteacher.
The appointment follows a rigorous selection process undertaken by the Governing Body, with the support and guidance of the Local Authority.
Miss McDonald was selected from a strong field of applicants due to her extensive experience, leadership qualities, and clear vision for the school's future.
The new head brings more than 15 years of teaching experience, including significant senior leadership roles.
She previously served as Assistant Headteacher at Nine Acres, where she was the Senior
Leader in "Excellence for All," responsible for leading and developing high standards of teaching and learning across all subjects.
Reflecting on her career path, Miss McDonald stated:
"Since qualifying as a teacher, I have worked across a range of schools, taking on leadership roles including Subject Leader in a variety of subjects, Head of Standards, 'Excellence for All' Leader and Assistant Headteacher."

Miss McDonald added:

Miss McDonald has officially assumed her duties after the summer half-term.
