New waste and recycling calendars for 2026/27 will begin arriving at Isle of Wight homes throughout June, with residents being asked to keep an eye out for the updated guide.

The calendar contains key information including annual collection schedules, recycling centre details and guidance on booking services such as re-use collections and Collection Plus.

There are no changes to collection days for the coming year.

Residents can continue to check their collection dates online by entering their postcode on the Isle of Wight Council website while awaiting delivery.

This year’s edition has been redesigned into a smaller format as part of efforts to reduce printing costs and environmental impact. Printed content has also been streamlined, with QR codes directing residents to additional information online.

The council has apologised for delays to this year’s distribution and thanked residents for their patience.

Anyone who has not received a calendar by 8th July is being asked to contact the Isle of Wight Council waste and recycling team to request a copy.
