A new support service for autistic and ADHD adults has launched across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, offering a single point of access for advice and guidance.

The Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) service is being led by Autism Hampshire and commissioned by NHS Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board.

Open to anyone aged 18 and over – with or without a formal diagnosis – the service aims to make it easier for neurodivergent people to access help without needing a referral or assessment.

It brings together several organisations, including Solent Mind and AIM Isle of Wight, to provide support across the region.

The service is designed for a wide range of people, including those who are autistic or have ADHD, those who believe they may be neurodivergent, and individuals waiting for an assessment.

As part of the rollout, four community hubs will be set up – including one on the Isle of Wight – offering face-to-face support, peer sessions, one-to-one appointments and access to local activities.

Support will also be available remotely via phone, email and online resources, helping people better understand their options and connect with services in their area.

People with lived experience have helped shape the service, ensuring it is accessible and tailored to the needs of neurodivergent adults.

The new service is now live, with support available by phone, email and online.
