Three new Best Start Family Hubs are set to open on the Isle of Wight, with locations confirmed in Newport, Ryde, and Sandown.

The announcement has been welcomed by Richard Quigley, MP for Isle of Wight West, who praised the move as a significant boost for families across the Island.

The hubs, part of a nationwide scheme backed by over £500 million in Government funding, will offer wide-ranging support for parents and children.

Services will include early childhood development advice, breastfeeding support, speech and language help, housing guidance, parenting courses, and stay-and-play sessions.

Richard Quigley MP said:

“This is fantastic news for families across the Island. These new Family Hubs show a real commitment to supporting children and families — not just nationally, but right here on the Isle of Wight.”

Rolling out nationally by April 2026, up to 1,000 hubs are planned across the UK by 2028.
