Almost 300 Santas pulled on their red suits and braved the rain on the first Sunday of December to take part in the much-loved Isle of Wight Santa Dash.
Despite the wet weather, spirits remained high as adults, children and even four-legged Santas set off from Ryde Superbowl for the festive fun run – or walk – along the picturesque Ryde seafront.
Participants could choose between a 5km or 2km route, making the event accessible for all ages and abilities.
Alongside the dash itself, Santas were treated to festive music, a popular charity raffle, complimentary mulled wine, and the chance to pose for photos with Santa on his sleigh.
The event was made possible thanks to the support of a wide range of local businesses.
Go Internet provided the Santa suits, while St James Clinic supplied the medals for finishers.

Other key supporters included Ryde Superbowl, Vectis Medical Services, Isleofwight.com, Snap Fitness IoW, Isle of Wight Cocktail Co., and the Isle of Wight Round Table. Isle of Wight Radio's Hev Pennant also contributed to the event.
Mike Palin, Event Organiser and Ryde Round Table member, said:
“It’s been fantastic returning for a second year to once again provide our community with such a fun and festive event.
"Not only does the Santa Dash bring the community together at such a wonderful time of year, but thanks to all our participants, sponsors, supporters and our amazing volunteers, the Santa Dash is able to contribute much-needed funds to Mountbatten Isle of Wight and the Isle of Wight Prostate Cancer Support Group – both fantastic causes.”
Duncan Fleming, Director of Quality and Operations at Mountbatten Isle of Wight, added:
“I want to say a huge thank you to all those who took part in the Isle of Wight Santa Dash on behalf of Mountbatten Isle of Wight.
"It means so much to us and the people we care for, 24/7, that you are willing to give your time and raise vital funds.
"Thanks so much to Ryde Round Table for continuing to organise this brilliant event and making it such fun.”
